What do the following Internet terms mean?

URL

Uniform resource locator. A variable address for any piece of data on the Internet.
To save open data or something from the Internet such as using the save as command. To take something out.

Import

To bring something in from the Internet and usually happens when something is exported such as using copy and paste.

WWW

World Wide Web. This is used in sync with http:// to find or locate different websites and data.

For Example - https://www.youtube.com/

Domain Name

Part of a network address which identifies it to be part of a domain.

Search Engine

A program that searches and identifies items in a database for a user.

For Example - https://www.google.com

http://

Hyper Text Transfer Protocol. This is located at the start of any link.

For Example - https://www.blogger.com

Internet browser

A software application used to locate and display Web Pages.

For Example - Google Chrome or Safari
